Polaris RPG - Shipping Status

Hi everybody,
so, we can now give you more detail on where we are concerning the shipping of your Polaris products!
This was our US fulfillment warehouse last week Friday:

All US and Rest of the World (European backers, see below) packages of the POLARIS CORE and COMPLETE packs have been shipped out! And not only that, some of you have even already started to receive them, like Nicole, who sent us some pictures of the items she received!
Thank you for sharing these, Nicole! Feels so awesome seeing these items on your pictures!
Deluxe Editions
The additional Deluxe pocket containing the Art Prints and exclusive Bookmarks is about to leave the printer and will arrive at the warehouse next week if everything goes right. So, Deluxe Editions have been held back for now, you will start receiving them in early August, as soon as the pockets get there.

Important info for European backers
Books for European fulfillment are slowly arriving/passing customs, but it will be another couple of days until we will have access to them. We've gotten a lot of messages from people worried about being on vacation during August and missing their packages. As our warehouse might also be on vacation soon and to make sure you won't miss your packages (which would mean a lot of extra costs to have them be sent out again), we now set our expedition date to start between August 15th and 20th so most people should be back home when their package arrives (most postal services keep them for 15 days before sending them back). Thank you for your patience!

Ready for GenCon? + Still looking for GM's!

Hey everybody,
whilst packages are getting ready (more info coming up but know that the first US backers will soon start receiving Polaris!) we are also prepping for GenCon!
You will be able to find us there on booth 103 with our friends from Paizo! All Polaris items will be available there and always someone from our team at Black Book Editions - we are looking forward to chatting and meeting with you!
We are also looking for one more additional GM, we have another GM badge available (getting the GM badge allows you to get a refund on your regular one if you have already purchased it). So if you already get the chance to take a look at the PDF's and would like to GM a game at GenCon for us, get in touch as soon as possible! :) We'd be happy to add you to our demo team! Thanks again to those that already joined our team, happy to have you with us!

Hello everyone,
today is a big day and it's time for a quite important news, so make sure you read it through (POLARIS DELUXE Backers: please check the info at the end of this Update)!
Polaris items arriving at our warehouses!
Gosh these production deadlines have been tense for everyone involved, from the final copy-editing pass through the layout and of course the very short printing time AND the shipping from the printer to our warehouses. But we are proud to announce that all these efforts paid off and that we've started to receive the Polaris items at our warehouses! All items for US + Rest of the World backers are now at our US Warehouse and will soon be forwarded to our fulfillment center. All items for European backers are currently still on the ship (shipping always takes longer to Europe) but so far everything seems right on track as well.
This is like the best e-mail subject you can ever get..
Update your shipping address - Last Chance!
This means of course that we are currently preparing to get items sent out to our backers. We will be exporting all data from BackerKit very soon, so please double check your address now! Especially if you have moved since first filling out the BackerKit survey! Backer data will be exported Wednesday or Thursday, so hurry!
Does that mean I will soon receive my Polaris books?
Absolutely! If everything goes smoothly, our fulfillment center in the US will start to send out the Polaris books over the next two weeks for all US and Rest of the world backers.
European backers: as stated above, it takes a bit longer for the items to arrive here in Europe even though everything is on schedule. Right now we cannot give an exact date of shipping because it will depend on the actual arrival and the holidays of our French Warehouse. If ever our delivery falls into the holidays of the warehouse, Polaris packages for European backers will start sending out around August 15th. Sadly we can't influence these deadlines much as it's difficult to make a boat swim faster :) We will keep you updated of course as soon as we get a clearer schedule!
OMG so much Polaris!
GenCon, hobby stores...
As you know, we will be at GenCon with all the Polaris items this year! We are really looking forward to this event and are really excited about it. Due to the very tight schedules, there is a slight chance that not all Kickstarter backers already received their items before GenCon opens. We really value you all for being our very first supporters here and following us so closely - it means the world to us! We are also aware that you are all looking forward to receiving our books and we did our best to be able to get the books to you all before GenCon but as postal services some times vary you might not yet have received yours! But we are doing our best to get as many books delivered before as possible (we are also aware about the postal strikes in Canada, we are awaiting confirmation to see if this will impact delivery or not, but right now it's looking good)!
The Hobby Store Release will be pushed a bit if possible so Polaris won't be available in stores before backers have received their copies.
The physical copies of our items turned out pretty great and the Deluxe Edition is no exception to this! But see yourself!
There was just one minor deception for us when we received our final copies of this limited edition of the Core Rulebooks: there was only one ribbon bookmark attached to each book instead of the two we ordered from our printer :(
Sending back the books would have been very costly and more importantly would have crashed all our deadlines, making it impossible to deliver on time. But delivering such a nice product missing one of it's features (even if it's just a small bookmark!) was not an option for us neither! So to compensate this missing ribbon, we've been working on an additional Deluxe Edition pocket that will be added to all limited edition packages!
This sleeve will be composed of a paper pocket (branded by the nations of the Deep - some of their symbols never unveiled before!) and two additional high quality art prints featuring the Techno Hybrid by talented Stephanie Böhm and a second illustration which is a preview of upcoming Polaris releases - the Shantak by our core artist Simon Labrousse! There will also be two paper bookmarks included that will be similar to the bookcase of the limited edition with debossing and foil stamping!

We hope that this will make up for the lack of bookmarks in the books themselves (there still is one ribbon in each of the books, just like for the regular edition).

Hello there,
most of you are certainly aware about the ENnies awards that take place each year at GenCon so you can vote for your favorite RPG stuff. Polaris as a product is not yet part of it this year as we are just releasing now but you can already cast your vote for us as a your fan's favorite publisher! :)

Hey there,
BackerKit pre-orders are now closed! Thank you all for joining in last minute on this exciting project :) Credit cards have been charged and all pre-order backers should be getting their batch of PDF's in these next days, watch out! They will all be delivered through DriveThruRPG.
Meanwhile we also prepared some more PDF's for our Kickstarter backers!
