Creatures PDF Update

Dear Polaris backers,
Happy new year to all!
Quick update on the "Creatures" PDF: the translation team is currently at work, with a March ETA for completion, followed by layout.
The good news is that we have an opportunity to include extra creatures creation rules content, exclusive to the English version, and will add that as a bonus. This will tie-in to the ideas we are throwing around on how to produce more PDF content for the English Polaris line.

Polaris RPG Update: Creatures PDF & English Language Line

Dear Polaris backers,
We are reviving this project to provide you with information long overdue. As you know too well, news on the Polaris line in English has been scarce and far between.
The reason for this is unfortunately simple: the Polaris line in English has been a costly endeavor, despite the success of its Kickstarter campaign.
To cut a long story short, we’ve raised about USD 75K while total development and production costs reached twice that amount. Despite all this, we delivered most of the promised products a while ago - what remains to be provided is additional content, mostly in the form of the free Creatures PDF.
Why the long silence and even longer delay in delivering this final product? Simply put, because we had to prioritize resource allocation towards other projects that could help us keep releasing great products.
The English language translation team will now be able to focus again on wrapping up the translation of “Creatures”: we will complete this free sourcebook, keep you updated on its progress and will announce a release date as soon as we have reliable information to communicate.
What about the future of the English Polaris line? We are exploring various options. Physical products in the retail network are, unfortunately, not one of them, meaning we’ll probably come up with a PDF-only strategy if we continue to offer Polaris products in English. In the meantime, we are in discussions to find new ways to create new original English content for Polaris - whether it will be considered “canon” and official or not remains to be determined.
Mere apologies will not do when you’ve been waiting for such a long time and have endured lasting silences from our side, but we will offer them anyways, and focus our energies on completing the project.

Hello everybody!
It's been a very long wait - BUT the rules conversion Polaris -> Savage Worlds will be here really soon! We are currently setting up the PDF's on the different platforms and will soon begin to send them out! Yay!
A handy little PDF leaflet for those who want to play with the Savage Worlds rules...
This little leaflet gives you 12 pages of info on how to adapt your Polaris game to the Fast, Fun and Furious Savage Worlds rules setting (if you are not yet familiar with the game mechanics published by our friends at Pinnacle, check out their website)!
You will still need to use both Polaris Core Rulebooks as well as the Savage Worlds Corerulebook and (PDF / Print) as well as their Sci-Fi Companion (PDF / Print).
IMPORTANT NOTICE: This is a BETA version of the PDF for now! There are still some updates that are likely to be made to it in the future (you will of course get access to all new versions of the PDF). Please also feel free to let us know about your comments and suggestions on how to make it even better :) Converting such a huge setting as is Polaris is not an easy task and even though it underwent quite a bit of playtesting, there will still be many things to adjust :)
